 Payments may only be made in person via cash or card. Please fill out an adoption application form. We can come to you! Every animal comes updated on their vaccines, flea & tick prevention and deworming if applicable. Dog and cats old enough will be neutered or spayed.

Adoption Contract

This is a sample contract. There will be a hard copy to be signed at the time of adoption with the specifications filled out. :)

The parties hereto agree that the owners shall abide by the following conditions:

1) ___________,  hereinafter referred to as the pet, is being transferred to the adoptive owner with the understanding that the adopter is taking possession of the pet to treat and be responsible for it as their own pet.

2) The pet will be treated as a loved family member. I will do my best to provide him/her with the best safety and care I can provide.

3) I will feed the pet at least twice a day and will always provide him/her with a fresh supply of water.

4) I understand the care requirements of the pet I have chosen to adopt and will review the care guides given to me.

5) I will not use the pet for any purposes other than companionship.

6) I will take the pet to a licensed veterinarian on a regular basis to provide all routine care.

7) I agree to keep the pet up to date on heart worm prevention and flea & tick prevention year round (if applicable).

8) I agree to have the pet spayed/neutered before the age of one year old (if applicable).

9) I affirm that no one in the household has been convicted of an animal welfare law violation such as abandonment, abuse, neglect, etc.

10) I am adopting the pet for myself and/or family and agree to not give away or sell the pet. I agree to never take the pet to a shelter or abandon him/her. In the event of a need to surrender, I agree to contact Hidden Willow RRS immediately. 

11) I agree to accept full responsibility and ownership of the pet at my own risk and am releasing Hidden Willow RRS from any and all liability arising out of possession and ownership of the pet. I agree that I am assuming full financial responsibility of the pet as of the date of this contract. Hidden Willow RRS will not be held responsible for any damages or expenses (veterinary or other) incurred as of the date of this contract.

12) The pet's known medical and behavioral history has been discussed with me.

Spay/Neuter Agreement

This does not apply to every pet! We also have plenty of resources available if you need help finding low-cost options!

Dogs and cats adopted through Hidden Willow RRS that are not already spayed/neutered must have the procedure done before one year of age. By signing this contract I agree to have the procedure performed by a licensed veterinarian. I understand that the I am also taking the financial responsibility of having this procedure completed. It is no longer the responsibility, financially or other, of Hidden Willow RRS.
